a sweet night, a happy dream,
soon come and soon gone
but why so quickly, happy dream
do you leave, right at dawn

Sad to meet, glad to greet
and i made thee shine like stars
and soon while in this happy dream
we claimed the night as ours

And so caring, so kind
my silly puppy, oh my happy dream
un-minding of my late night interruption
of wanderings before the dawn, right between

Now as i wake, and enjoy the day
i miss this nights happiness
please sweet night, come again
so we may spend the night in bliss
