Hey there fellow furries!

Just wanna give you some quick information on why we went offline for a week or so. A nice group of people decided to find an exploit on the website...

Long story short, they could post blogs as any user. The issue has been fixed. The only downside is that the Remember Me checkbox has been removed temporarily.

Also, I heard some talk about some hackers getting passwords off of MyFursona... Not true. First of all, we weren't hacked. Second of all, your passwords are stored in a database and are all encrypted.

You're safe. =)

PS: xcXEON chmodded the avatar and image upload directories to read only until we fix a few more things, so please don't upload avatars or images until we fix this. Thanks!

    I'm not sure you understood the update...

    @xcxeon, which is one of the administrators, chmodded the three directories to block uploading images.
