    Southfields, southwest London. In the lovely borough of wandsworth not far from wimbledon.

    Halloween isn't exactly the largest event here, but its far from the horrendous invasion-of-privacy fest it seems to be northwest of the capital. Kids come (usually with parents), we put sweets in their bags or boxes or whatever provided they've made an effort. One year we had no sweets, so we gave out bourbon creams. Once they have taken their sweets and we've admired their effort (or the actual costumes themselves, if they've put in enough effort for them not to be shit), they're gone.

    And central London is brilliant. Its an excuse to dress up in weird shit. Nobody is going to stab you for being a furry there... In fact, to be honest, nobody is going to stab you for being a furry anyway. Nobody who stabs people has the slightest clue what a furry is. You're going to get stabbed for "giving them a dirty look", "Walking in their area", or "Looking at their girl" or "looking at them at all" or "being alive".
