So, not certain if anyone on here is a fan of Patton Oswald or not, but during one of his routines he mentions a little movie that was made in the 1970s and then was never officially released until a couple years ago, a film called Death Bed: The Bed That Eats. It's a little movie about a bed that, well, eats people.
Naturally, my friends and I were intrigued and decided to see what the movie was all about. Well, joy of joys, it arrived via Netflix this week and tonight we sat down to watch it.
You. All. Need. To. See. This. Film!
Seriously, if you enjoy campy, horrible horror films, then there is probably no better film out there to sit around and make fun of. The pretentious script, nonsensical plot, random unexplained happenings, abysmal editing, and a man who gets his hands eaten off to reveal clearly plastic skeleton hands in their place.
We were absolutely dying all the way through this movie. Junk food for the mind, 100%.
I'm a 23 year old male bison living in Houston, TX. I'm engaged to a fellow fur, I work in the organ and tissue recovery field, I'm a giant nerd, and I'm super friendly.
I spend most of my time hanging out over on IRC on FurNet, so if you find yourself online, don't be shy about saying hi. And I promise to make all this more thorough in the future, honest!
I love tabletop roleplaying, and my principal hobby is collecting old and rare gaming books. I play bass guitar, I work out, I read constantly, I surf the internet, and I hang out with friends. Regrettably I have very little in the way of artistic talent when it comes to drawing or anything like that, but I do a fair amount of random crafts to make up for it (miniature painting, woodcarving, jewelry crafting, things like that).
Every conceivable genre of music. Currently the playlist includes Dr. Steel, Gogol Bordello, Freezepop, Gwar, Harvey Danger, Average White Band, Otyg, Midnight Syndicate, Jurassic 5, Graveyard BBQ, Clutch, L70ETC, and Oingo Boingo, to name a few.
Pretty much anything on Discovery or National Geographic. Venture Brothers, Law and Order, and Cops are probably my three favorite, though. Also, anything that follows the formula "World's Blankest Blanks" is good.
Primarily World of Warcraft (I'm on the Sentinels server), but also a fair amount of the Civilization games, as well as whatever XBox games my roommates end up leaving around when I'm bored.
Primarily nonfiction, cheesy scifi and fantasy, and gaming books. I've got around three bookshelves completely full of assorted tabletop roleplaying game core books and supplements that I thumb through. Also, tons and tons of anthropology and archaeology stuff.
