the mediocre side of life is shining its face on me right now, nothing good nothing bad, and if one happens, the other happens the same day. The most I can pray for you right now is that you reach the mediocre and then get better! Sorry for the late response. Heh, to keep this short, I'll just say that I'm not a Taoist, but I am influenced some by the Taoist texts Tao Te Ching and the Chuang-tzu. Some Absurdist philosophy is thrown in, too. I'm not sure beyond that, as I haven't really fully delved into my thoughts on my beliefs.
That definitely seems like a good plan to have. A little preparation goes a long way, I think they say. I wish you success on finding your path, and may your heart always be lighter than the feather. :-)

Ah, that's cool. Are you looking to follow an individualistic path into the Kemetic faith? Or are you looking to affiliate with an order like, for examples, the Church of the Eternal Source or Kemetic Orthodoxy?
