Planning for AC09

Was talking with Vince ( http://www.furaffinity.net/user/vecenteklaar ) over phone and apparently I have no choice but to go to AC 09 (Anthro Con) o.O!
XD It's kinda funny but I actually don't mind, it will be a first for he and I so we're equal lol

The plan was to fly me there at first but seeing as I fear/hate commercial planes (always have since I was 6) it dwindled to train which I love most over any other public transit. Well I recently got curious and mapped out exactly where AC was going to be held and how far it was from Saint Louis. found out it was only a NINE HOUR DRIVE!!!!, straight shot down I-70 so I'm thinking, "to hell with it, I'll drive!!! :D" so now I have a new game plan for my car and would love the help of any petrolhead out there (or anyone mechanically inclined :P)

I did an entire inspection of my car and tested a few things and the list of needs are as follow
1. ALL bearings including inside the engine
2. Bushings
3. Clutch assembly (everything)
4. Entire braking system
5. Coilovers (actually an upgrade)
6. Alternator (115 or 130amps)
7. Fuses and relays
8. Vacuum hoses and heater hoses
9. Torque tube (that's a maybe, might just rebuild mine)
10. New rims and tires (gonna have to upgrade, rims are worn and tires are dry)
11. and lastly custom wire harnesses (maybe since there isn't much wrong with my wire harnesses but I just like to be sure and safe than sorry :P)

Now here's where I need help with, the brand things such as clutch, brakes, coilovers, rims, of that such, what brands would you recommend people?

For clutch (which is what I want to try and get done first) I've found that only Centerforce and Sachs makes applications for my car. I don't know many other companies out there but might some of you know some other brands that make aftermarket or OEM replacements for older Porsches?

The brakes I pretty much know what I want but they kinda pricey so I was curious if anyone knew some good ones for a decent price. I prefer cross-drilled over slotted but the combo of the two would be nice as well. Zimmerman, Wilwood, and Brembo are the only that seem to make brake parts and kits for my car, anyone know any other brands?

Rims, of course I want to stick with using aluminum but what styles/brands you think I should get, I'm getting tires from Yokohama (love them! :D) but if rims is a no go then I'll settle for the 997's rims, the new Turbo Twist style

My car is a 1984 Porsche 944 (non-turbo, but not for long ;D) incase any of you want to take it upon yourselves to help me find parts for me babe, I'd appreciate the help much! and hell, if you go to AC you might even see us and the finished results! :D My aim is to get her to about upper 400s and tuned R/T or ProStreet style so it's basically like the new 997, an everyday supercar :D



As for AC09, who else is planning on going? and who should I go to in order to have a badge made/colored? Vince ( http://www.furaffinity.net/user/vecenteklaar ) and I may have a place with Allen ( http://www.furaffinity.net/user/sidkah ) to stay but if not, anyone renting a room or are there some locals that will be willing to share a room? Gah, I dunno how this con rooming thing works so I'm sure someone will fill me in XD

Further more, what exactly goes on at cons? like all the details, of what to do there cause frankly I wouldn't know what to do and prolly just sit around looking dumbfounded XD
