Fear, and what it costs.

Having a shy disposition, and being taunted in school, and constantly belittled can have a massive effect on who you become. I slowly became invisible in my classes, and in my school, and I eventually stopped going. I hid away in my room and rarely went to hang out with my friends.. I've come a long way since then though. The only way to keep from backsliding is to step into a situation that makes me uncomfortable and just doing it. I know I can do this, and I have to. I think everyone should try and do something they're afraid of doing everyday. Don't stress over the consiquences, focus on the goals, and all the good things that could happen. I've yet to perfect that last bit though. Don't let fear cripple you. I'm not gonna let it cripple me. I've come to realize, that my computer's nice, but it's not something I need or want everyday. I want to go out, I want to meet people, I want to do fun things, share stories, laugh with people I don't know. I've lived with 8 hours min on a computer for many years until recently. I use to chat with people on it, but it got into a thing where all I did was play video games. There was almost no interaction with anyone what-so-ever, other then shooting them in game.. Lol.. The game isn't even that great, I was good at it, I played it constantly.. but I can apply that skill to other things. I want to draw, I want to skateboard, I want to go to college. I just have to focus.. and not be afraid of the potential for having to socialize. Living in my room has cost me so much. I have to get out, and become something.
