Looking back on lost time...grr >.
Just using this for a random and mini-vent, so enjoy it...or ignore it...or take it with a grain of salt, or take it for what it's worth.
Looking back and realizing I was married to someone I shouldn't have been for 11 years, yet I knew much earlier on they weren't the one for me can occasionally be maddening.
I thought I made the right choice back then. Sometimes your own pride and drive just won't let you quit something you know deep down in your heart you have to. That somehow, you can fix it. Unless the other person wants to come along for that ride - it's probably not going to happen the way you wished it could.
The good thing is, it's in my rear-view mirror, becoming more and more hazy by the minute. Something I don't need to focus on. It's good to move on and be yourself. Life is a good thing, so many places to go, things to do, ankles to terrorize...wait...scratch that last one.
That felt good. Okay, time for the ferret to burrow under the covers for the night!!!
