Pointless bitching, act one

Rarely do I post some of my annoying bitchings online, but now I just felt like it so feel free to skip the contents of this blog. Now, on with the bitching.

I hate my drawing style. I hate it all the way to the core. Nothing in it looks the way it's supposed to and it doesn't look pleasing to me at all. The worst part is, I've tried to improve it and change it over the years, but haven't achieved any of that at all. It's been stagnating at the same point for two years now and it's really starting to bug me.
And I'd really want to change it. You have no idea how badly. But still, as hard as I may try, the end result's always the same. I've looked a bit into it, and the thing I noticed was that I'd have to change everything from the beginning to the end. From the point the pencil first enters the paper to the point when the last detail is finished, I need to change everything because I'm doing it wrong. I've seen alot of drawing foundations (some call them wireframes or stick figures) that are far more detailed than my finalized product.
Also, another thing: I can't draw anything simplistic. I don't know why, but doing something simple and easy-looking such as a cute "chibified" version of a character is an impossibility to me. And I really have no idea why. This doesn't bother me that much, but I don't like it when my creativity is limited by my lack of skills. I tried to learn it once, but failed and decided it was useless anyways. Yeah, I was pretty pessimistic those days.
But I guess my final point is that I don't like drawing as much as I used to. It's not fun anymore, because whatever I may draw, it always turns out annoying me in the end and making me not want to draw for a while. And when I don't draw for a while my drawing skills degrade, which causes me to be more annoyed and it turns into a vicious cycle. So if anyone out there has some good advice, then please please PLEASE tell me! I want to start drawing alot again, but I just can't do it with my current way.
