Personal: Looking for Group D:

DUDEZ.
I need to either learn to play the piano-mo moderately well or just suck it up and find moar musicians in my area D:
(sac county, CA, btw :3)

I started to try to finish a song today, can't get the *sung* vocals to work with the background right; but at least the house was quiet enough to get finished what I did. I'l sit on it for a few days and then post it everywhere, screaming "YESS!" at the top of my lungs.

8D but anyway, I do vocals, learning keyboard.

Furries, Halp?

About

Hallo there, My name is ; well, you can call me Sigrid or my real name, Kyla, I really do NOT care; my fursona and myself are one and the same.
I've been a furry since birth but only recently started to settle down. I do not consider furry a fandom- it's complicated.
I'm learning Piano, Like most sorts of music, am a strange mix of Asexual and Bisexual. I like to meet people, furries or no.
I play a mean game of fetch, though I'm not so good at catching shit in my mouth yet and; unfortunately, cannot move around much for very long.
I've got a connective tissue disorder, uber giant glasses, and people tell me i sing pretty damned good, too.
I'm learning to play the piano, and enjoy leisurely video gaming.
An old friend of mine dubbed me a "Universalist"- contact me if you want to know my exact definition of the term.

I'm tryign to start an exclusively Furry radio station; I've contacted a few hosts.. but I'm not sure the best say to pull it off. Please give your opinions!

I like

Reading, Writing, Drawing, Video Games, MUSIC, People, etc.

I listen

To mostly Adult Alternative, rock, country, just about anything as long as it's not *BAD*- I don't especially like most rap, hip-hop, or R&B.

Love: Josh Groban, Matchbox Twenty, My Chemical Romance, Breaking Benjamin, Lifehouse, Journey, Queen, etc.

I watch

House, M.D.; Mythbusters, [Scrubs]; Monk, CSI

I play

Piano, Didge (both somewhat); Wii, Gamecube, Xbox- Tales of Symphonia, Legend of Zelda, Dead Rising, DDR, etc.

I read

Lotsa things.
I especially like:
A series of Unfortunate Events (haven't finished)
Harry Potter
The Second Sons Trilogy (and just about anything by Jennifer Fallon)
The Zombie Survival Guide
World War Z
The Halo Books (though I haven't finished them yet)

Bleeding Hearts (a novel by a friend)

Bitter Endings (by another frient)

I also prefer the block schedule myself. The period method isn't bad.... but it could be done better in my opinion.

However I'm not worrying about school at this exact moment because it's labor day weekend ^^

I wish you the best of luck on your job search, anyway. :) As far as my job hunting is going, well, take a look at my blog in my profile, and you'll see. ;)

Lucky you! I'm in the only public school in the area. It's got some nice aspects, like the academy system which lets you take curriculum courses that apply to future jobs, yet the approach is slightly flawed as I'm pretty much hopping from academy to academy with my schedule rather than staying in the business one (the only one with computer science courses).

That and we've recently switched from a block to a period schedule, more classes per day at a shorter time per class. The teachers are still learning to adjust to that so homework can fluctuate from comfortable to outright unforgiving.

Only one teacher.... how do the school systems work for you? I get 6 different teachers with a double period of Physics (apparently they like to extend torture around here).

Yeah... they certainly don't screw around.

Speaking of which, are you in school yet?
