I also prefer the block schedule myself. The period method isn't bad.... but it could be done better in my opinion.

However I'm not worrying about school at this exact moment because it's labor day weekend ^^

Lucky you! I'm in the only public school in the area. It's got some nice aspects, like the academy system which lets you take curriculum courses that apply to future jobs, yet the approach is slightly flawed as I'm pretty much hopping from academy to academy with my schedule rather than staying in the business one (the only one with computer science courses).

That and we've recently switched from a block to a period schedule, more classes per day at a shorter time per class. The teachers are still learning to adjust to that so homework can fluctuate from comfortable to outright unforgiving.

Only one teacher.... how do the school systems work for you? I get 6 different teachers with a double period of Physics (apparently they like to extend torture around here).

Yeah... they certainly don't screw around.

Speaking of which, are you in school yet?

So far so good, AP Physics is threatening to give me aneurysms but besides that I've been alright ^.^

Yes, what you saw on my page is correct. :P I do enjoy listening to Josh Groban. One of my vocal teachers has said to me one time that my singing voice is pretty much like his. ^^

The business card form of the logo looks good (I like the subtitle), but it does lack something when presented alone. Maybe try the logo in graffiti style, since it will mostly be DJ oriented? Just a suggestion *shrugs*.

I'd go with Animal Bar over Animal Beat. It might just be me, but I associate beat with the Hip-Hop/Rap scene, while Bar seems more inviting and open to several bands as a venue.
