For those of you not in the know, there is a serious issue with the law treating people based on their race, rather than treating people based on who they are.

In this case, the couple's right to adopt is being infringed simply because they are not Native American. The law, far from protecting children, hurts them, all in the name of keeping Amerindians with families of the same race.
I had to throw up this morning because of the sheer injustice against good people in this article. Okay, so maybe I was feeling a little sick anyway, but this pushed me over the edge. I can't believe that after all the sweat and blood put into making this country color neutral, there are still elements of the law that treat people based on their race rather than who they are as a person.
Now excuse me, I have to throw up again.
