Chaos is no match for a content mind.

O.O

I'm here... to inform you all that I'm really not feeling inclined to post on Myfursona or the forums for awhile.

No need to fret, my page will still be here, and I still periodically check it. For those that actually want to keep in touch with me, my IM screennames are on my page.

In addition, I got a Twitter, so you can follow me on there if you're really that interested.

More likely to see activity from there from me, it's a pretty nifty site.

See you fine folks around!

About

My real name is Matthew, you can call me Leif, Matthew, Matt, whatever you please, they're all one and the same.

I am a nerd, a geek, or whatever other synonym you care to use and am proud of it. I fall on most every step of the ladder of geek hierarchy (Dungeons and Dragons, Anime Fan, the list goes on and on).

I try and fool myself that I'm an artist. What I really need is a lot of tough criticism and help... so be as harsh as you please now that I can post stuff up. I'm a bit more musical than artistic to be honest... though I'd like to say in pictures what I'm used to saying with music.

And here's me furry code :

FCW4ars A+ C- D H+ M+ P R++ T++++ W Z Sm RLCT a- cw++++ d e- f++++ h* i++ j++ p++ sm-

With a translator

I like

Furries, art, long-winded discussions about profound topics, complete and utter spontaneity, the fact that I'm confident I know who I am, Video games, anime, probably you as well.

I listen

To my heart (woops, not the place for a Napoleon Dynamite Reference.)

Most varieties of JPop and Jrock tickle my musical ear. I also like classic rock (think Queen, AC/DC, Metallica), Power Metal (Dragonforce, Rhapsody), and instrumental tracks.

My favorite artists/singers/composers include:
Yoko Ishida (Beautiful vocalist)

Nobuo Uematsu (Guilty Final Fantasy Addict)

Joe Hisaishi (the guy behind music for films such as Spirited Away and Laputa)

Shoji Meguro (He did Trauma Center and Persona 3.)

I watch

Youtube. Need I say more?

Movies? 300, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, V for Vendetta, pretty much anything by Hayao Miyazaki.

And I need to meet the one furry movie quota here...

Balto

I play

Oh boy...
In no order save for Okami (Sorry other games... don't hurt me!)
Okami
Final Fantasy Series
Zelda Series
Furcadia
A whole list of others that could go on eternally.

Oh wait, it doesn't just have to be video games? Add Cello and Piano to the list.

I read

Fantasy/Sci-fi.

Piers Anthony, Stephen King, J.K. Rowling, and Tom Clancy are my favorite authors.

The Stand gets my all-time favorite book award at this moment, with Salem's Lot running a close second.

YES! In fact gamos is an ancient Greek word for "marriage" so saying monogamy would be marriage with one other person. However because the term monogamy is widely accepted as a relationship term for all monoamorous relationships, marriage or no, I tend to use that term more. People understand a lot quicker instead of having to explai nthe use of monoamory, but I *have* heard that term used before as well. :)

As for your wording on "it's not a choice for everyone" I'd disagree on that wording. Yes, as I mentioned to Jerthar it's not a choice everyone would choose, but not necessarily "not a choice" at all.

From what I hear, about the financial relationships of others that is actually one of the benefits of being in a polyamorous situation. More people out working to pay the bills. In the case of triad relations where everyone is livng together and there are children, it also alloweds for one parent to be home with the kids while the other two work thus not really detracting from the "normal" household budget when kids come into play. *shrugs* But complications do arise just as frequently as in any other relationship type [after all say two of the three were working and one gets laid off, that leaves ONE person to try to support three people]. Living arrangements are for some easy and for others a challenge, it depends on the relationship in question, who is connected with who and ect.

Personally Leif I don't find poly relationships to be all that more complicated than mono relationships, such as it is one can start poly relationships at any age. This being said I'd never push or prod anyone into a poly relationship if they feel they weren't ready or wouldn't be happy in that sort of relationship or other such things like that. To each their own, after all. I've always been of the polyamorous mindset/nature even growing up even though I was (faithfully) in monogamous relationships until I started dating Graverg.

I don't find anything you said to be offending. In fact, especially for your age, I find your responce quite mature and well thought out. At the very least you have relationship theory down, even if experience isn't so much in play. Don't forget the benefits of second or third hand experience, direct experience is not always necessary
