4th of July weekend

The 4th was really cool, we had a bunch of our relatives over, and at one point, three of my cousins, my brother and I went across the street to the park with bottle rockets. I didn't have a lighter, so I couldn't shoot anything off, so at one point when one of my cousins and I went home for more stuff, we got back to the park and my brother and other cousins were standing up on top of the hill and shooting the rockets down at us! The rest of the night had a bunch of cool fireworks and such, though no screaming stuff or firecrackers, since my dogs would go NUTS when they hear them. We had a metal pipe in a bucket of sand for the bottle rockets, but we decided to see what would happen if we shoved smoke bombs, sparklers and a fountain down all at the same time. Needless to say, it was AWESOME, with the smoke shooting out and we set the mouth of the pipe on fire XD.
Saturday morning I went up to MA to see a couple of furry friends for a fireworks show they were going to. I got up there, we grabbed some food, and went to the mall because they were craving a play-through of Diablo 2 since the trailers for Diablo 3 came out. Being the only one up there who still had theirs, I got to poke them and be like, "I guess I'll play MINE" :P After we couldn't find it at any stores, one of my friends said, "Let's go see Hancock!" and the other fur there and I were like, "Sure!" so we went and saw that, then went to the fireworks party. They had a nice haul, about $750, and it was buy one, get one when they went, so they actually got $1500 worth. We all sat around and had food beforehand, then the fireworks started at 9 and the entire show lasted about 25 minutes. Then we all sat around and everyone except me got WASTED off beer and Jager Bombs. I think I was the only person drinking Iced Tea, lol. I had a sip of a Jager Bomb and I don't think I'd ever want to actually drink one, because it tasted like Vick's cough-syrup with an extra burning that sat in the back of my throat. I then got to play Designated Driver for the wolf and fox and got to watch them as they staggered up the 3 flights of stairs to my friend' place. I kept count of how many they drank (bombs counted as 2) and each had 19. Sunday we woke up (they woke up at noon and I woke up at 10) and went off to grab some food at Uno's and my friend had to do a little more running around afterwards, but then we went back to his place and played Super Smash Bros Brawl for a while before I left at 6.

In all, another really cool weekend ^_^
